Towards the end of 2010, I was very lucky and fortunate to receive an invitation from Lush Beauty to attend their first ever Tea Party for an European styled ORGANIC skincare cosmetics brand, Elishacoy!

Tea Party??! Korean brand?! Makeup?! How could I say no to such a tempting invite...?!!



Being fairly new in our local beauty market, you might or might not have heard much about it, so just a short intro for your understanding.

As Elishacoy encourages a healthy lifestyle, spiritual abundance, and modern sense, major ingredients include herb extracts - known to be the ‘essence of botanical healing’ with a natural aroma extracted from 100% of natural essential oil. Some of her products include the essence cream, BB cream, mineral powder, mask sheets, scrub masks and more.


It was held at the dressing area in ALT@Heeren. For exclusivity, Lush Beauty held 2 separate sessions to accomodate the bloggers invited. No squeezing about to try the products + full attention from the host of the day, Kiyora!


What's a tea party without some snacks? Of course, Lush Beauty had it all thought out and prepared pretty little cupcakes, finger food and drinks for us.

As the name says, this is a BB cream that will turn you into the most alluring shining star of the night (or whichever occasion/event you are at).

Here's me without any cosmetics except for the falsies, which I put on in a desperate attempt to look fresher. =.=
Skin is slightly better here, as compared to the "Before" picture in the previous Bio-essence entry. You can still see my acne marks, dark eye circles and a few zits here and there.


Squeeze the Bio Platinum BB Cream on your hand first to warm it up so application will be easier. This BB Cream is slightly lighter and more liquidified than the Bio Multi-Effect BB cream.


For a better and even coverage with a dewy look, apply the BB cream by gently patting all over your face using your fingers.


Applied it only on half of my face so you can see the difference for yourself. My skin is fairer, more radiant and pores are less visible already. Note that I only applied 1 thin layer of the BB Cream, no base or anything else applied.


Do the same thing to the other half of the face. We are almost there, but not yet, you can still see my dark eye circles & zits. Now, let me show you how I conceal them using just the same BB Cream. It's a technique I picked up from 女人我最大.

1. For dark eye circles.

Use any small brush you can find and dot the BB Cream along your dark eye area. Gently pat your brush and blend the cream.

Concealed my right eye first. Spot the difference?!


Repeat the same steps on the other eye and TADAH!

Dark eye circles NO MORE!


2. For pimples


Finish with a light brush of loose powder to set the bb cream and you're all ready to head out!

Who says you need dozens of steps to achieve a flawless look?
Now, I can has flawless, nude and natural makeup with Bio Platinum BB Cream! It's so easy!


And I so love this BB Cream! Why is that so? During important occasions like dinners or events, I usually have to resort to applying layers of makeup base such as sunscreen, moisturiser, liquid foundation, concealor and loose powder to cover my flaws. But guess what? My sensitive oily skin won't be able to take in all the amount of junk and I will end up with a messy cakey face by mid-day. It's not glamourous at all, trust me.

Texture is quite creamy, but not too thick. Although it comes in one shade, it is supposed to blend well with most skin tones.

As you can very well see, I have blemish-prone skin, with random zits here and there, acne scars, enlarged pores & uneven skin. And oh, not forgetting dark eye circles too!

Directions: Squeeze an adequate amount of cream and apply evenly on your face, using light patting motions so the cream will be evenly spread out.


Applied the BB cream on half of my face so you can see the difference. The BB cream goes on smoothly and is relatively easy to blend. My pores/zits are less visible with a radiant, fairer and even skin tone. The coverage is comparably good compared to other BB creams I've used and I only need a little more concealor for my remaining visible blemishes.
