Hence, I'm gonna update everything (well, MOST) at one go. Pardon me, for I've forgotten the exact dates of some.
=======================================
One of those days, baby got his first pay (whooping load of money!) and gave me a treat to a buffet near his workplace. I'm not gonna reveal the exact location. Only exclusive friends will be allowed. Haha.
We reached the place about dusk to realise to our tummies' dismay, that it would only start operating at 7pm. So, we did some nap-snap snapping while counting down to the restaurant's opening (well.. we had to distract ourselves from our growling tummies)
Time passes real fast when one indulges in photography..!
And in we go. The interior designing captivated me and got me taking as much as peeksures, from as many angles that I could think of, for some good minutes that I almost forgot my hunger.
Real awesome right?! Diners can look out to the man-made pond and garden through the floor-to-ceiling glass panes while enjoying the food. The whole theme of the restaurant was very nature-like and helps to put one at ease.
As usual, was super excited upon seeing the feast waiting for us on the counters.
Our top faves - Seafood Soup and their signature dish, Char Kway Teow.
Penang Laksa which tasted sorta like ayam soup and Prawn Mee with generous servings of prawns, sliced fishcake & greens. Both dishes were served in mini porcelain bowls which is a really good idea for people who wanna try a wide variety but cant eat alot.
That's only our first round. I lost count of the number of times i walked to the buffet counters. Even HE was shocked by my appetite that day. Haha.
What do you think he's doing???! Making Penang Rojak!!
And we hereby very humbly present to you our self-created Penang Rojak! Assorted tropical fruits (pear, pineapple, apple etc) in tangy dark gravy. Absolutely low-fat and healthy!
We had sooo much food that night... 3 bowls of Seafood Soup EACH, Char Kway Teow, Prawn Mee, Penang Laksa, Curry with bread, Satay Chicken, Otah, Spicy squids, Nasi Lemak, Malay Kueks, Rojak.. and I can't recall anything else already haha.
Went to catch the Forbidden Kingdom after our major feast. Strolled down the night streets with him, hand in hand and talking about our visions and everything else under the moon. Real memorable.
There's still MORE to come..! An evening with Mother Nature and Mommy's Day on 12 May! But my eyes are getting heavier.. to bed to bed...
