the bittersweet finale

the last of your roses
roses which cost pride and fortune.
the last of our kisses
kisses which was meant to last, but never did.

the last glimpse at your outline
walking away, down the gloomy streets.
I could sense your disappointment,
such intensity, it almost tore my soul apart.

our pledge for everlasting love
was troubled by my discontentment,
regrets which I've always bore but never voiced.

was afraid of hurting you, that's why I've always been quiet.
yet my abrupt departure caused more agony.
you've seen my ugly side.
you've tasted my cruelty.
don't come back, and let my blemishes taint your purity.

Update 1. Infatuation of the moment

SE W960i

Photobucket

I'm loving it so much, with its 3.5 megapixel in-built camera, 8GB memory and a WalkMan phone, its everything that I've ever yearned for in a phone! Dad used his $150 voucher to purchase a new line on my behalf, and chose this phone out of his own accord without me telling him which phone model i wanted to. Something i proclaim a miracle. Of course, I've got to pay him back the money with my pay.

Update 2. 14 February 2008

Photobucket

Both of us agreed not to celebrate Valentine's and decided to head out to Vivo for a dinner after work. Vivo was infiltrated with couples of all genres, from the old to the young (secondary 1 or 2 perhaps), the working adults to the ah-lians/bengs. We were saved from joining the caterpillar queues at the restaurants and filled our tummys with gelato and Superdog instead (awesome fries they have!).

After been to Vivo for thousands of times, I only just realised they had a pet shop there, named Safari or something, which is really cool. Check out the animal clinic.

Update 3. The Leap Year

Photobucket

We caught the local film, The Leap Years, stared by Wong Lilin and Ananda whatshisname (male lead of Shutters). I would say, it was pleasantly nice. Not an impressive one nor lousy production. Mediocre perhaps?

After the show, took a damn long journey from Boon Lay to Pasir Ris, imagine that! I was dying to try out Summer Breeze at Pasir Ris Park.

In a London Cab.

Finally found the secluded place (its not really very accessible). I must say, there is a complete lack of service there. We were left wandering around for a good couple of minutes, looking for available seats whilst the waiters turned a blind eye to us.

BUT, their food makes up for the non-existent service. We tried a few of their signature dishes, Sambal Fried Rice with Ikan Bilis, Grilled Dory Fish, Crayfish, Honey Lemon & Fruit Punch, Tomato and Mushroom soups and a Tiramisu! 5 out of 5 for all of them!

I've found another Tiramisu to qualify for the rankings:

1st - Clarke Quay Italian Restaurant

2nd - Summer Breeze

3rd - The Coffee Club

4th - Crystal Jade Bakery

Wee...

Rest of the night...

Thank you dar, for giving me such a special 4th anniversary!
