A Decade of Friendship

iI realise I haven't blogged about the people dearest to me here before (with the exception of my family and Qx).

Not because we are drifting apart or replacing each other in our hearts with new friends. A decade has passed but we're still as strong as ever, if not even stronger despite going our separate paths after Olevels. Now this is a true example of how pictures do not always speak a thousand words.

Fortunately, we finally remembered to take pictures during our previous meetups. We have too little photos for goodness sake!

Not our intended destination but we stumbled across this quaint cosy little pub/restaurant while seeking for shelter from the pending storm.

Chunrui, the ever good-natured dolly.

Our future accountant babe, Sharon.

Missing Beverly who couldn't make it due to her tremendous amount of schoolwork. We missed you!

Another reason I think, that we have little pictures is cause our meetup times are so precious, for us to catch up with each other, share laughters and heart-to-heart talks that we can't spare much time for cam-whoring.

And of course we must take group pictures, like how all the other bffs do. Lol.

Family Day >3

I still cant get over the sumptious brunch we just had at New York New York's. Smashing it was!

Our main courses:

Photobucket
Hawaiian Teriyaki Chicken

Photobucket
Their signature Roast Chicken - the gravy is to-die-for!

Photobucket
Aglio Olio Mushroom Penne - my all-time favourite pasta. It's stir-fried and does not have the overpowering mushroomy taste.

Photobucket
Spicy Buffalo Chicken pizza - Not spicy AT ALL. I would give this a miss. =(

Dessert:

Banana Island - Heavenly sinfully awesome man! There's chunks of banana fritters and strawberries swimming in hot chocolate, topped off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The combination is just right.

My brunch companions whom all share the same sir-name.

Me with the "Organiser" of the day haha!

And of course, what's a family day without pictures of me and my soul/squabbling-mate.

There's what you end up with when you have nosey brother(s).

P.s.: My bangs are growing into my eyes and I tried to sweep it aside. I won't be trimming them till they are long enough again.

And because of my terrible skin condition, I decided to forgo makeup for a week and the result is better skin! Less pimples and blackheads and makeup goes on skin better. I've decided to use as minimal makeup as I can, just blemish balm, concealor, lip gloss and eyeliner. This might sound alot but its really very little compared to my usual makeup regime. Haha.
